Odyssey+ Windows 10 Blurriness Issue Back AGAIN?!?!
Everything looked okay when I first set it up but now some SteamVR games like Hellblade are a horrible, blurry, low resolution mess ... Seriously it looks like I'm running at 640x480! "Auto" off for SS, set to 100 ... what the hell, WMR?

I can´t confirm any degradation in clarity with Odyssey +. Im on latest Steam VR and WMR Beta and all is fine, without the resolution scale entries in the file - they should not be needed any more. Win10 is on 1909. I´m playing Asgard´s Wrath through Revive and everything looks and runs fine. Of course there is some bluriness of the objects in middle and far distance, but this is due to the "low" resolution of the odyssey. Steam SS Setting are on 150% on an 1080Ti.

Something is definitely very messed up again. Can anyone confirm if the issue is gone with 1909? I'm still on 1903.

Yea I have a Samsung Odyssey + with a GTX 1080 and my recommended SS setting in SteamVR also says 130% ha. I'm not sure exactly what's going on.

Reprojection seems kinda weird with performance lately too.

Does anyone know if these issues go away with the full release of WMR for SteamVR? I'm not sure how long ago the last full release was.

I know they removed it a while back, wondering if adding it back will do anything.

Were you ever able to test if the bluriness issue was back or if it's just confusion caused by changes to the SS scale?

Odyssey Plus here. And don't know what to say...bluriness and lack of sharpness and image quality are huge. Tried to install beta and with this release clarity and sharpness is far beyond the main version. BUT I feel a strong negative effect, which practically negates all the advantages: when using my headset with beta my eyes seem to be always "unable to focus" (it feels like), and then there are strong feelings of dizziness and nausea. When using the main version, this is not.
I'm using 1909 Win10 Pro. On or off motion reprojection, 60 or 90 hz, ss in steam vr has no effect, the problem persists at any resolution. And my eyes started to hurt which wasn't before.

Same thing here with the blurriness issues, I don’t know whether this is a new issue or it always used to be like this, I got the odyssey+ for a month now.

I'm also having issues with resolution. Using 1909 with O+, beta WMR, and stable SteamVR. The black background with white lines SteamVR background used to look fine even with no SS, now there's jaggies even with 150%SS. Plus I can definitely tell a difference in games.
I wasn't paying attention to what might have done it because I've been playing some flat games. But Boneworks is coming out soon hopefully this will get resolved before then.

There was a significant visual downgrade around the release of 1.8.15 beta. Reverting back to 1.7 stable branch seemed to fix it, but that isn't an option anymore.

Same issue here, is any dev or solution going to present itself?

Ok so im mainly a DCS world guy, and my settings of steam vr supersampling at 180% game was looking like blurry crap. I turned on steam vr advanced supersample filter and that seemed to have made things glorious on my end.

Using wmr app beta and steam vr stable.

That's really interesting as I've been told by multiple people that you are supppsed to leave that DISABLED. Ive never really ever gotten an answer on exactly what the hell this option even does.

ya that was the sop in the past and what i always did, but i turned it on as its seemed this image quality was crap again and seems to make it better for me in dcs world atleast

Yeah it was supposed to be off before. I turned it on now and it did seem to improve the aliasing I was getting in certain games. Steam VR's "world" and menus aren't effected by the SS.

Just wanted to point out that someone linked this thread in the WMR reddit and someone from Microsoft has responded. So thankfully someone is looking into it.
