You see, it would be nice if everybody does what MS says and develops UWP which are sleep-able. But you should face the reality that, 90% of VR apps worth running are *not* UWP, and most of the VR apps on the MS store are crap. If WMR doesn't cooperate with Win32 programs, you're not getting them to hop onto UWP train, you're getting people to buy Vive Pro. Look, nobody used Windows RT, nobody uses Windows S, and nobody will use WMR that sleep crashes non-store apps ok?
I really like the WMR hardware. I think you guys here are doing very important work in making it compatible with a wide range of available software. I even wish that the MS store will take off. But you're a new entrant, please be nice to people in town.
All they need to do is add a setting to disable this stupid sensor.
Can you tell us in which build you intend to put the patch ? I'd like to restore trying other new features, but I'd like to avoid switching back and forth from insider to regular releases.
This bug is a bit too frequent for me to allow normal use.

Still need to do more extensive testing but seems like I was able to fix it by disabling Power Management for Odyssey in Devices.

UPDATE: Nope, still happening. That fix doesn't work. And this is started with 1903 for me.
(So far I used my Oculus Quest, which obviously doesn't exhibit this behavior; it doesn't just randomly close your running apps. I got an Odyssey+ too a few days ago.)
