Thanks for letting us know. Could you please share some details on your PC's hardware? What is your GPU and CPU?

Yes, here's my specs:
OS: Windows 10 Pro x64
Motherboard: Gigabyte H170-Gaming 3
Processor: Intel i7-6700 @ 3.4, 4 Core, 8 Logical Processors
Graphics: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 3GB
Ram: 16 GB
I was going through the forums and found someone had the same problem with a different headset (the sony one?) and it turned out the problem was that they had the monitor plugged in to the motherboard HDMI and the headset plugged into the graphics card HDMI, and when they plugged them both into the graphics card it fixed it? So I ordered a converter because I only have 1 HDMI slot on my graphics card so we'll see if that works, but it's kind of a weird solution considering that the Windows MR home works perfectly fine using the motherboard and graphics card HDMIs together.
Thanks for taking the time, I hope we can find a solution!
Find your steam log directory (usually C:\program files (x86)\steam\logs)
Find the vrclient log file for the game that is having the issue, for example vrclient_TheLab.txt
Open the log file and search for "wrong device", if you find this line
Then plugging your main monitor (per your display settings) into the same adapter as your HMD should help
