Coral reefs and different types of fish

Now when im underwater in this game it seems waaaay to empty. like there needs to be more life and also ya know how normally when u find a fish its just usually one with no others? there should be giant schools of fish like in real life for piscivores to feast on. as long as theres nothing around that can eat them, and i would also enjoy different types of fish instead if just....fish.

Forest Island has a lot of that. The problem they are having is that a lot of fish causes the game to lag out like crazy. Once they get it more optimized they can add more fish. But yeah right now the ocean, especially ancestral plains, is a complete bore. Plus the fact that every fishing hole is right on top of each other makes the map super easy to camp and dominate as the one big krono/mosa allowed to exist.

oh yeah, well does forest island have colorful coral? when i swim in it all i see is kelp and sponges as always with any sea in BoB, im just saying the oceans seem a bit lifeless :/

Yeah it does, interesting rock formations, colorful corals, spread out fishing areas. Honestly its a bit baffling how well made forest island's ocean is compared to AP. Ancestral plains is a flat boring exspanse of sandy marine desert and all 4 fishing spots are basically within one stamina bar worth of fast swimming from each other.
