Certain BoB players dislike this as it effectively makes the giant animals whom are substantially more powerful than the average player never go away and essentially free to run amok, bending servers to their will.
There is nothing wrong with providing private servers different options so people can choose where to play with what rules they want play with, officials never had and will never have auto revive.
(unless something changed while I was gone but doubt it)
I'm not fan of auto revive, i don't play with servers with it, but why wouldn't private servers be able customize there experience on their servers.
It is like everyone in this game including devs don't seem understand what make games survive the times, but its options, options to talior your servers experience to your liking and maybe other players like what u have setup and then you have populated server.
Ark is perfect example, conanexiles, Vrising, are others, what makes these games good, all the server options you can adjust.
