Changing BoB to DirectX 11.
lately for the past 2 months or so (before that i never had issues or crashes) the game has been crashing like every 2 hours. now it's crashing even more frequently and now each time it crashes i get the message "Gpu Crashed or D3D device removed. It's only this game and after some googling i discovered that it could be because BoB runs on DirectX 12?
im pretty sure i meet all the requirements.
Sapphire Nitro 5700XT +
16gb RAM
Ryzen 9 16-core
so i'm basically just wondering if i can somehow change specifically BoB to directx 11 while leaving other games at directx 12. (and hoping that fixes it)

Yes, you can change it. Directx 12 is giving problems to many. I am also running mine with 11.

Open your steam library > right click Bob > Proporties > General and copy paste "-dx11" in to the launch options and have fun playing.
