how do i make a private server?

i wanna know how you can make your own singleplayer private server you can test stuff in and explore the maps in but im not sure how to do that.

so i cant host one with one computer or something?

You can run your own server from space pc or laptop for best results. Also you need have good internet / decent upload speeds. Yes can run from same pc, but only if you have fairly beastly system. 6-8 core system or better from either Intel/AMD CPU should do fine. but don't forget you'll need more ram to run both game and server from same system. I'd say 24 GB would be enough. 16 GB might not be enough for both game and server. Depending how many you have connect to it.

If not, You can pay one big name Host companies to run a server for you.. Perfect Ping is one of them.
