How does sharp teeth talent work?

The sharp teeth talent increases your damage against large prey. But for something small like Velo would sharp teeth increase it's damage against Pteras? Pteras have a larger health pool and are physically larger but I'm not sure if it applies. Does the sharp teeth talent work if the dinosaur is a larger species then you (Velo to Ptera comparison) or does it have to be considerably bigger then you (Velo to Megalo comparison)?

it goes by weight. If an animal has a higher weight value then you it will add extra damage, and this scales based on the difference.

A velo will esentially gain damage vs anything else, except a similar sized or smaller velo or juveniles/baby's of small and medium species.. so a 1.0 velo will gain a boost vs a 1.2 velo, but a much larger boost vs a 0.8 rex.
