Tunnels get darker at night

Anyone else finding certain underwater tunnels nearly impossible to navigate in because it gets too dark to see? I had to log off my icthy just so i wouldn't drown in the nighttime darkness.

Here's a solution, don't go in confusing caves near night as an Icthy. All in all though, no idea if the aquatics have better ocean night time sight than the semi-aquatics but with my mosa I can navigate perfectly fine under the tunnels at night. Though, some tunnels are darker than others and you just have to find your way to the lit part of the tunnel. Otherwise, not sure what your problem may be.

It seems to happen in the tunnels under the mountain lake in ancestral plains, I think the transition between tunnel lighting and outdoor surface lighting gets glitchy because those tunnels open up into a lake bottom.

how do you bring up the console? there's not a key for that

Don´t forget the two slashes:

You can do it in the chatwindow.

use the F2 key to display the console

You really shouldn't have to adjust your settings at night. Night time is clearly too dark and should be adjusted.

You can use the ` or ~ key to open the console, which in turn is a easier way to type gamma commands without risking to embarrass yourself if you type it wrong in the public chat.
