Server hosting help

I used Pingperfect to rent a server. When I try to change any settings, such as sever name, map, game mode, it will not change in the game. I was following the wiki in terms of the config files. Nothing that I have tried is working, and it still displays the default information such as combat mode, test performance map, ect.

Okay, I got that working. However I cannot get the admin ranking to work. I set a level, and set the admins of the server to that level, but they cannot use commands. They get the "you do not have sufficient rights to use this command" message.

Sound like your game.ini is not set up correctly and or has messed up,
Most host isp like perfect ping have webpage/config page that less you add needed changes. I’d try remove all current changes. Add steamid in again. Then reboot server. If still does not work. Then you’ll need manual config “ game,ini” and upload to your host server. The other options is tell your ISP/Host dele eveything. Do fresh install of the server. Then try again

Or you can try Manual adding game,ini. Which will require uploading new/proper game.ini to your host server.

2- back up your old game.ini. Del current one from host,
3- download one from Vipe page. Sample of ‘ GME.INI ‘ can be found here

4- make backup for yourself of default game.ini
5- make changes as needed. RE: like adding the proper steamID64
Make sure your adding correct STEAMID64 #.

This where you put in your admins steamid## for your hosted server.

Save changes. ( note don’t save as .txt file. Has be saved as config file)

6. Upload this to hosted server.

Note I don’t have a lot experience with hosted servers. And I am not %100 sure this is most updated game.ini. But does work last time I checked. If not up-to date. Then Vipe will have update it and his FAQ when he has chance too. I know he very busy guy.
