Linking my Upjers account to my Steam account

Hi Duffhead and players

I would really like to connect my upjers account to my steam account but i can not find any option or even any reference to this possibility anywhere.
If this feature is not currently in the works, can you asks the devs if its possible.

I have found out that all uptasia accounts (both steam and upjers) play on the same server but there is no option anywhere for me to input my player ID (from steam) into the upjers portal and access my main account through the browser. While i prefer the smoothness and speed of the Steam version i would like to still be able to use the "account sitting" feature of my Upjers account without compromising the integrity of my entire steam account.

With many Upjers browser games now finding their way on to the steam platform and more to come i expect, this option should be seriously considered from both ends. For both current upjers players being able to port to steam and for steam players to learn and play more upjers games without having to do everything twice.

All players feel free to comment as well as to whether you think this option should be available.

Currently that option is not available, and from what I've been told by our devs, that feature will not be available since it is very, very difficult - bordering impossible - to implement.

Yes, it would be awesome to have that feature, I'm an avid fan of being able to link accounts for one and the same service and I'll see what I can do, however I wouldn't get my hopes up that this will ever be implemented.

Yes i understand that it could be difficult, but many many software companies have this option so i know that it can be done. Even if its not possible to link the entire account it shouldnt be overly difficult to have a login option on the uptasia site that allows you to enter your ID number.

Whether you create an uptasia account through steam or log in using your upjers account you still get given a unique ID# that should make this possible very easily. There is just no option to enter it.

Im just thinking out loud anyway, but if upjers is planning to continue to release more and more games on the steam platform its definitely something the devs should be looking at. Im also sure that while it may be difficult for your devs, the steam devs have been doing this for years and a small amount of collaboration might make it easier ;) Although personally i wouldnt let them near my stuff either.

Not sure why this is so difficult for upjers. I can think of about 10 games off-hand (a few of them MMO's) that can link accounts.

The main reason is that Valve doesn't like linking the game's progress to our own platform, which has been around since about 2012. We're not too happy about that either, but that's the trade-off for being able to offer our games here in the first place.

Okay i understand that. But my progess is saved on my steam account. Isnt it possible to let me login over steam in the mobile version to get in to the saved progress?

Unfortunately, linking your Steam account to the mobile version of the game to synchronize progress is not possible. This limitation arises because Valve's policies restrict linking game progress to external platforms. Consequently, your game progress on Steam cannot be transferred or accessed on the mobile version.
