Firstly, to clarify I am only a moderator for Mesozoica and the project leader, Max Wood was not going to tell the community, so I thought it was my duty to inform you.

Please do not shot the messenger:

There will be a development Hiatus on Mesozoica. Furthermore the project lead; Max Wood believes that all the Kickstarter promises have been fulfilled.

If you do not feel the Kickstarter promises have been fulfilled, please make a give examples and we as a community can try to make them fulfilled.

My deepest condolences to the kickstarters.

Again please do not abuse or be rude to myself or any other moderator or admin, as the responsibility of this is with Max Wood alone.

For those , that kickstarted a lot my deepest condolences to you. I am working on something completely differnt and independent on Mesozoica and the best I can do, is give you a free copy of that, however it may take a long time to get to fruition.

However, this is completely from me and has nothing to do with Mesozoica or the Mesozoica development team, I just feel really bad for you guys.

This game is the biggest sham since TSL, a close friend of mine worked on the game and still hasn't been paid, the game was released with a pricetag way above what it's worth. I wish I didn't waste my money.

If they don't have their quest system, I'm not sure they've fulfilled kickstarter promises. And development going 'on hiatus' with 'promises fulfilled' is, from my unfortunate experiences with crowdfunding, scammer talk for "so long suckers." Especially with the 'hiatus' being announced after no updates since April. It'd give people more confidence if the game got a last update.

Which is a shame, after JW:E's disappointing AI, I was looking forward to Mesozoica's updates again.

Yup. I'm beginning to gather evidence to bring to Kickstarter. Max has even admitted on the fb group that the rest of the team was expecting to slip away silently (Which is what he also did).

Honestly, with the behind-the-scenes rumors this game had going around, I was still willing to give it a chance - now this. For shame. I'm the idiot, though, I threw money at an empty game.

Delivered on kickstarter promises...are you kidding me... Someone should report this to Steam. Not sure if anyone would buy it at the moment...but as such the game should be removed.

I've made a group for people who need to vent, and hopefully gather evidence to see if we can take this further. I know several people are awaiting refunds etc. I'd appreciate it if people could help out.

Yep. Another Kickstarter fraud. I bought it knowing most likely it would be abandoned early on. Steam really needs to start holding these scammers accountable.

Thank you for this update. I fail to see how anyone could view all promises as being fulfilled, being that the "game" is little more than a unity editor in its current state. And what about people that backed at a fairly high level? (myself included) We have not gotten all that was promised. If anything, this has just taught me to find out what is in the water, before jumping in.

I guess you could try to contact max wood for a refund..And if he doesnt want to pay you back threathen him with a lawsuit.. Not that it would help much i think
