I've yet to acquire Dream verb - suppose it's intentional and I'm gonna get at some point along with Desire. Hovewer, the absence of the Dream makes it impossible to heal Injuries and Sicknesses. Actually, I've decided to take a break precisely because I've got Season of Sickness with all my Health cards already turned into Decrepitude.
I'm going to cheat my way out of this, but still, since it's not clear how to obtain Dream, I suggest that you add some healing option for the early game (and, again, supposing this is all not a bug and player really not supposed to have a Dream since the beginng of the game). Something like Campus Infirmary that can heal you via Explore verb will be perfect.
Also, Scholarship job greedy phase doesn't pull "Lecturing professor.." card despite it having a required "A Career in Research" aspect.
Anyway, I liked Pact of the Wolf and liking this. Would definitely see it through.
I didn't noticed that "A Career in Research" slot can't pull anything with the Job aspect, so now I see it was intentional.
And I've overlooked that you can Study the Thesis to get the Dream and Desire. Silly me. But, I guess, its lack of any aspects is kind of confusing. If it had Text aspect, like books do, it would probaly be more clear.
However, there are also some new things I've stumbled across. First, you can found any vanilla occult society before founding Society of St Josiah (you'll have two cults cards then). This one is probably not very significant, hovewer.
And the second one is that I can't succeed dean in any way - getting an opportunity to advance just ends in him telling that I'm willing to keep my old position and dealing with him via minions just exhaust his card.
Would you be able to give us a hint?
Could you write a little walkthrough of how you got to the ending and also how you edited the save file to finish it? I'm still stuck on the second secret history
So, I don't want to make too many spoilers. To get the first "secret histories others" location, the library of hush house, you have to talk to one of your secret histories followers, which were added with the mod (you can find them by exploring the campus, but I assume you already knew), about cult business and, when the slot about the SH lore appears, put inside the lvl. 2 lore SH Other. I got the location at the first try, but if you don't then just continue trying (I suggest using a disciple). Do the mission and unlock the lvl. 4 lore, then speak about it with "your favourite dancer" (cheat bridgeofblues, also, cool name) and do the most unnerving mission of all. When you unlock the lvl. 6 lore, talk again to "our favorite dancer" and she will suggest you talk about it to Teresa (my favourite summoning). After that more or less the game tells you what to do with the Atlas of Dreams and other items it will give you in the future. I won't go any further so not to spoiler too much the story. Also, about the small edit I had to do to the save, for some reson the game after a mission didn't give the book to unlock the next SH Other lore. If that happens to you then I suggest you take an item you don't use or don't want (I used the cracked watchman glass, there's two of them and I already had the frangiclave), talk about it with a follower and save while you're talking. Then go in the save file, serch for the part that tells you about the conversation and about the item and substitute that tiem with the book you need. I think it was called the "Name of the Hours" or something like that. You have to find it in the mod folder. This part is the most difficult. I hope that it doesn't happen to you because I think it was a bug caused by the fact I had too many mods loaded.
One last thing, I am working on a mod but I need some help to write the code for a new type of work. Do you know anyone that can help me because I'm pretty much stuck.
And finally, I also write stories on wattpad (not about cult sim, I'm sorry), I need someone that can spread the word, also I think you could like the stories. Here's the link: https://www.wattpad.com/846383879-story-of-a-mask-prologue
I would love the support and the help for the mod. I hope I helped you and that I didn't upset you all for my small requests. Wish you a good day.
Sorry for the late reply! My Steam notification settings were weird. I did notice the bug with the Dean, and have since updated it, so you should be able to succeed him now! As for the cult bug, I thought I had made it to avoid that, so I'll take another look at it.
Thanks for the feedback, and I'm glad you're enjoying it so far! Adding the text aspect to the Thesis is a good idea, too!
Sorry for such a late reply, but you're on the right track! Each piece of history can lead to a new location, if you know who to ask about it. Start by talking to those closer to you, and they'll have some idea of where to look.
I found this bug and fixed it! It was a silly oversight on my part; I had the expedition set to only give 2 of the 3 cards at random. Now it gives all three.
Thanks for noting the description error with the Wheel Tool! I hadn't noticed that one before.
Finally, the Dean bug has also been patched, so you should properly be able to take his position, though its not as simple as just taking him out.
Thanks for your feedback, and I'm glad you're enjoying it!
If you're looking for help with modding, there's a few good online sources. There's a modding page on the Cultist Simulator Wiki with all the info you need.
