Weird issue where my desktop flashes through my game occasionally

So I started playing again after a while, and I noticed a weird issue. Every once in a while, my desktop flashes over Cultist Sim. Like, for just one frame, the game's window goes transparent and I see my desktop. I've restarted the game, restarted my computer, played it in both windows and fullscreen and forced borderless windowed, and it's not tied to the autosave.

Any ideas? All my drivers are up to date, and this is the only game it happens with.

Thank god, I'm not going crazy. Now we just gotta figure out how to fix it...

Same here... although for me it seems more like the screen dims for a frame whenever it loses focus (and maybe auto-saves, though they don't always coincide)

Can as many as poss of you folks contact us at [e-mail]? This is probably some weird hardware consonance, and if we get enough dxdiags we might be able to work out what.

I'll play the game a bit and see if I can get the issue to happen, then do so.
