PC vs Mobile version and price
Is there any reason (except platform prefrence) to buy the PC version over the mobile version thats less than half price? Game looks very interesting, unfortunetly i missed the last weekend sale and the full price is a bit much for me. Any discounted sales anywhere in the near future? ;)

Considering how poorly it controls with mouse, and how obviously designed for touchscreens the gameplay is, I'm not sure why this was ever released on PC. And at half the price, it seems to me the mobile version is the way to go.

It was not "designed for touchscreens." It came out for PC a year before it was released for mobile because it had to be ported over. It works just fine with mouse.

Beyond that, it's preference. It's cheaper on mobile because mobile users won't pay as much. I would certainly find it infuriating on mobile.

I own the game on mobile and PC, and greatly prefer the PC version. I find it much easier to play on PC, to the point of dropping it on my tablet entirely. It doesn't help that this is the sort of game where I take notes, and I find that easier to do at my desk playing the PC version. I also find that this game is pretty visually busy for a tablet screen VS a PC screen. I can't even imagine trying to play it on a phone.

I absolutely cannot even imagine how difficult it'd be to play this touch-screen when you have about 60 or more cards on screen and are trying to manage three+ things at once.

Same. I love playing it on the go when I am waiting somewhere, but I far prefer it on PC.

I've got it on both my phone and PC, and let me tell you I hardly ever play on my phone. The touch screen interface just isn't enough to make up for the tiny size and the difficulty managing fine movements. Maybe if I had a full sized iPad or something it would be better, but as is it's just way too hard to keep track of things and far to easy to accidentally drop a card somewhere I didn't mean to leading to me playing "find the thing" for five minutes instead of just playing the game.

It's a personal preference thing certainly, as I also have Stardew Valley on both and again prefer PC, but with the large amount of items to keep track of it just drives me up a wall.

The pc version is superior here because you can have a bigger screen. Managing dozens of cards so tiny you can barely see them, with a touchscreen, is basically a nightmare to me. But it's a matter of personal preference.

I also prefer the PC version. Bigger screen, easier to manage cards (there's a lot of clicking and dragging), not to mention the ease of pausing with the "spacebar". Also, it's on sale on GOG for the next four days.

I too think the PC version is superior.

However ... the mobile version does have mobility going for it. It's very nice to be able to sit back in my comfortable chair and fire up Cultist Simulator on my iPad Pro. If you've got a large screen tablet, it can be a nice way to play.
