You can use any rite. A rite's effects aren't determined by it, but rather by what you put into it.

Teresa requires a lot of lantern, little bit of secret histories, and a moderate amount of knock.

You will likely want to use the sunset rite, which sacrifices influences. 10 lantern lore, a knock disciple and fleeting memories as the influence ought to do it.

Alternatively, you can use a high level lantern influence (At least 10), a knock disciple and any level of secret histories lore. If you're still using that rite, that is.

Go to the Chamber of Ways for a Lantern 10 influence, put that into Sunset Rite with a Knock disciple and Secret Histories lore.

By the way, Sunset Rite is the one you should ues 95% of the time, so make sure you buy that film from Oriflamme's. Without it the game would be insanely hard.

Because that's not how the system work. Every rite can be used for every summon; rites only differ in what you can put in them and what is sacrificed during the rite. For example to summon Teresa you need 5 knock, 2 secret histories and 10 lantern. It doesn't matter what items or what rite you use it only matters that you reach those numbers.

It's true but nobody plays like that once you figure out how it works. You only use Sunset rite whenever possible, because every other rite destroys irreplacable cards. It's incredibly poorly balanced, to the point where using Sunset almost feels like an exploit.

I see your Sunset and raise you Map's Edge. Also, I use Crucible Soul for resummoning, especially Names.

Do...Do I tell him that's not the only place you can get it, nor the only source for it....or do I just walk away? d=P

Outside of cultists and certain tools, most ingredients are replaceable. Besides, you can also use summons as well, who are VERY much replaceable.

Yes Sunset is helpful as it's pretty simple to get the resources for a success, but remember that ALL rites require you finding them first. It's not outside the possiblity you're adding hours to "a run" just out of "holding on for that awesome rite I love using". Experiment if you have the spares.
