Rites and Rituals
Does anyone know the combinations of lore required to learn a rite? I am stumped.

I made one once accidentally. No idea how I did it. I'd like to know more too!

Rite of the Crucible Soul
Rite of the Watchman's Sorrow

TBC list of rites that I'm implementing right now:

The Rite of the Sea's Feasting
Rite of the Map's Edge
Rite of the Smith's Striving
Rite of the Mother's Mercy
The Rite of the Sea's Wedding
Sunset Rite
Rite of the Wolf-Divided
Rite Intercalate

Drooling! Do all the rites do you only one thing or does it do multiple stuff depend on what you put into the ritual when you’re performing it? Last and final question what actually does on unearthly power and unearthly knowledge do in the final game. Because at best it seems like it’s just showing us the prologue

(1) it depends what you put in it; so depending on what resources you have access to, in theory most rites can do most things;
(2) it plays a cheery 8-bit tune and then shows a pixellated sunset, before pulling back to show that the whole scene occurred IN YOUR OWN MOUTH

So if in theory one rite can do most thing what point to the learn the other? Or are different Rite better at some spells and tasks then other rites.
That honestly should be easter Egg or one of the many ending.

I would like to note that this is not at /all/ clear. If I hadn't looked this up, I would still be laboriously grinding through every combination (a slow and expensive process which, crucially, /appears/ to be going somewhere but in fact is not).

don't worry! one of the last bits of dev we're going to do is add in a bunch of explanatory text here and there, to direct people on what's possible and what they might want to try and do next.

if it makes you feel better, *i* still really struggle to figure out how the hell to manage the later-game occult stuff, so don't worry, we're aware there's an ish! we'll make sure it's better by launch. :)

All the rites you can acquire will work, though some are more finalized than others.

This is really reassuring - I got my boyfriend to play a couple days ago and had to kinda frustratedly point him at some very core early-game bits of info (how to form a cult, how to meet new people); I expected this would be a known issue though :)
