Ways to get Erudition/ Reason

The only ones I know this far are studying Reason/ studying in general, and a possible outcome for Ecdysis Club

Studying reason
Studying certain books
The 'lantern in the skull' random event
50% result of completing a commission
Occasional result from spending money at the Ecdysis Club
Occasional result from dreaming at low level gates
Occasional result from exploring the forgotten streets (forget exactly what it's called) card you can get from exploring with a follower or health.

Thanks. Forgot Essays. Higher Gates are something i still need to play around with.

The stag door is the only gate that gives erudition I think.

I find I get at least 3 book of essays each playthrough, so with that and the first study reward I never have a problem.

At worst you can also use rites to transform passion into reason, since glimmerings are much easier to get.
