Various cultist types have various means of dealing with Mr. Aiden. A Lantern-type will attempt to drive him insane. A Grail-type will attempt to seduce him into scandal. An Edge-type will just murder him. All other types will attempt to murder him, poorly.
I recommend your cultist be upgraded before you attempt this.
Once Mr. Aiden is taken care of, keep going to work, feed it Reason, and after a few shifts you get the position. (WARNING: Do not feed passion to the slot that says "I could accept this" or something along those lines. This triggers an ending, or at least it did in the beta, could be different now.)
For a board membership, you must do the same thing, get an upgraded cultist to take care of the Younger Glover, then feed your shifts the necessary reason and passion. Be careful though, once you're a board member, getting Notoriety can easily cause you to be fired, and you cannot go back to Glover and Glover when fired, so plan carefully.
