Best Way of Maxing out Painting Profit

I know that the payout is slightly randomized, and more mystique/notoriety can give you more, but are there any otherways to maximize it?

I'm not sure what you're spending your funds on...but having upgraded my painting skill really high, I've gotten like 60+ funds.

Just manage your money well, use noteriety in your painting slots, and just keep going. You'll eventually start to gain tons of funds.

If you're spending too much, your funds will significantly go down.

I got 60+ funds while buying books at morland's.

Sometimes you get a good painting, sometimes not. But always try to put a fund into your painting for paint.

You just have to wait for it to die down with time as far as I know. If you're having trouble with the detective trying to find clues you could maybe tie up the notoriety in a painting for a bit and hope that it takes long enough for your mystique to dry up and them to leave, but that also has the chance of gaining more notoriety and mystique, so it's not always a workable strategy.

I recommend either not caring about notoriety and just sending your cultists after the evidence, or a quick and confident strike to the back of the neck of the detective. With a knife.
