If you've already gotten started down that path and you're stuck further on, I can give more advice, but I don't want to spoil more than necessary.
Yes please. Just directions, if possible
So I'd suggest just reading these up to the point where you're stuck and figuring it out from there, since otherwise you're skipping a significant part of the game - figuring these steps out is part of the game's main puzzle. That said:
1. You need to get Way: The Wood by dreaming with Passion, then adding Lantern, Moth, or Knock as your lore. (Possibly other combinations of dreams and lore will work?)
2. Dream with Way: The Wood with at least level 4 Lantern (the description on that lore hints at this) to access Way: The White Door.
3. Dream with Way: The White Door and add your desire (as it instructs you to) to access the riddle. It's different in every game.
4. Dream with the riddle and submit the answer to pass.
Bam, you're at the Stag Door.
the riddle is not always the same! so the answer varies!
The riddle and the flavor text from the matching lore are normally quite obvious if you have the matching one. But yes you might need a specific level of a certain lore. Best way is to write down the flavor text of lower lvls you combine into a higher one just in case, but I'm pretty sure it's always a level 6 lore ( Need to do more testing before confirming this, which would ease my ming by just letting me upgrade all lore to level 6 and wait before upgrading further until I cleared the riddle )
I really have not been dreaming, so that's probably the problem
You can get infinite amounts of Secret History lore (they drop from Wood and White Door dreaming with Passion).
Oh, well, guess I'll gut another Weary Detective while I wait.
