Physician not receiving Temptation Card or unlocking Talk Verb
Not sure what's going on in my new game: I have unlocked as far as explore, found the bookstore and about 4 or 5 other locations, but it's not unlocked Talk nor have I been dealt a Temptation card, so I have no way of getting my cult rolling. Right now I'm just bank rolling cash and reading books. Any tips on what action I have to do to unlock the Talk Verb or get dealt a Temptation card?

Wait, not Dreams - the one with the Hook. "I could give into my Dreams, but it would Devour my Reason." Have you put a card into that?

Just noticed I have no appropriate Obsessions card either.

Did you give into your Dreams with a Reason card?

Normally you get those two when the entire temptation tablet comes out and you put your reasoning in there and scalpel in your eye.🤣

Yes, this is how I remember it from other games.

In my case, I researched the notes from the patient and the Dream Verb came up, but no other message/option was there for getting those Temptation cards.

The Red Hook for Temptation has been just sitting there spinning for hours. The Red Hook for Obsession shows up, runs down its timer, and disappears when it cannot find an Obsession to automatically grab.

Oh my goodness. Thank you and you have excellent reading ability. I had not in fact dropped Reason in there, but had obviously tried something else. >.<
