Stuck on map overview.
Sadly no keys work, time can be started/stopped, but after I picked a card from the paths. It wont let me see or do anything from the fortune teller.

I am in exactly the same bug. It looks like a map of the Mansus and there is nowhere to go from here.

Drop the card on the 'node' representing your entry point.

This took me so long to figure out!

And after I did, the game started hitching and freezing.

reloaded the game, and got poor performance until what I guess is a graphical effect (looked like a star field?) in the centre of the screen went away. Back to normal good performance now

Mine just up and died. Wouldn't get past coming back from the map.

How important is that map to actually playing/winning?

I'm having the same problem, only my poor performance seems to be permanent. It was running perfectly before, but now it running at 1 fps.

I don't know what to do to fix it.

Had the same problem after i played that game for several hours straight. Even had to restart it at one point. After i started a new save it seemed okey tho.

@MerlinCross tbh i dont know much about the game yet but in my 2 runs i did i always needed that map to progess.

When reporting technical issues you should always include your hardware specs, it's near useless without them.

Mid-to-Late game it can be a fairly important source of Lore to Explore for Locations, and Influence for Rites and follower Promotions.
