top left, for health, passion, reason (your 'stats'), spread out six across (five to use, and the rest in a 'draw' pile). I like to have five out like that, because if they are 'dimmed' they move things around a lot if you drew from a stack, as opposed to if they are in a line.
Under them, I have any detectives and locations.
Top-right:
All my scolarly stuff and boks.
Bottom -right:
All my consumables and artifacts
Bottom-center (this is further devided into left-center and right-center).
So bottom right-center: all my lores, spread out neatly according to 'what melds itno what', so in a nice 7 card order reminding me of what I can upgrade into what, which I know loops.
left-center:
all my cultists and pawns.
Center of the board - my play field. Where cards go that auto-eject from things.
I remove things that I know are on timers and put them out on the frindges, outside the 'play field'. I put mystique up top, along with facination / dread.
until late game I will put erudition and glimmering to the left of the play field.
Ths is because I can generate around 12+ mystique and I just don't need it anywhere else.
If I generate any noteriety, or evidence, it goes down next to the detectives to remind me.
Here.. forgive my ugly face, I was live-streaming and I screen captured at a derpy face moment:

It's not super pretty, but I find it very functional. Followers, Lore, Tools+Ingredients arranged by aspects on the right, Verbs on the left with their commonly used cards in closer proximity. Other odds and ends out of the way, and the middle relatively empty so my arrangement isn't destroyed by the occasional "collect all".

I quite like the right hand side arrangement of lore pieces, which also serve as indicators for what my disciples are good at :)
