How is one supposed to get Reason in the Bright Young Thing legacy?

A lot of books when studied will give you erudition. The club can also give you it. That erudition can then be converted to Reason either via money (which might require an additional step of Contentment+Dread => Reason) or an essay collection. Given how common Contentment is right now, I would recommend the former.

Thanks! I hoped there's a built-in way to get it, like you get passion (as I thought all characters have to start with health, passion and reason), but I guess I was mistaken.

You get Dread when the Dreams begin, which should happen when you read Papa's papers. If you're quick on the pause button, you can collect it and put it straight back into the Dream token before the token which spawn at the same time out of Time Passing can grab it. Since dreaming of it takes 90 seconds, and the greedy token runs for only 60, you'll get to keep it. At this point, you can make use of any source of Contentment that might be available to you (such as, in particular, working with your Passion.

The ability to sneak the Dread away from the token like this may be a bug, and may very well get fixed.

Uh, they did just give you a means to aquire more, but yes not all starts are equal.

I think it will expand more once the artist expansion is out.

Another way to get erudition is to fail to combine lores. Who knows, you might even get a rite like I did.

How do i create a cult in this legacy?

Easy get lore speak with or dream in woods until you fine rumors. Then use whatever printable of your choice to find your cult

I dreamt in the woods and have a ton of apuaintances, but no option for a cult showed up.

That’s one of the things I love about this game is that even though it is esoterica confusing a lot of basic stuff is stuff you would do it real life how do I apply for work how to meet people how to start a cult etc.
