Stag door riddle - no actual riddle

When dreaming with the Stag Door Riddle card, I don't get any actual riddle. Ghirbi is described as a gold head, and I'm required to put an answer, which only accepts Lore.

I've put every single type of 6th magnitude lore on the Answer, but all of them are not the answer.

In short: wtf.

Is the fact that an actual riddle question is missing, point to something else?

The intended sequence of events is

Dream on the White Door with your Dedication
Get the "Stag Door's Riddle" card
Dream on the Stag Door's Riddle
Slot in the lore it's asking for.

After that you get the Way: Stag Door or whatever and you can Dream freely using Reason.

If you didn't get the correct card, something went wrong somewhere.

Ok, I've reloaded a save, got to the stag door riddle and now it worked fine with Edge. This did not work the first time, and the Stag Door Riddle text was the same.

It worked with Edge? When I used to play this game there was no riddle for Edge. It seems like they added it recently and you had a compatibility problem with the previous version of the game.

Yes, it worked with Edge, which was a bit more than weird because a buddy had the exact same riddle text yesterday and he had to put Secret Histories, like Areetsa mentioned in the first post.

The riddle directly corresponds with the lore it asks for, so there shouldn't be any confusion about which lore should be accepted.
For example the Secret Histories riddle is "Where is the queen who was not born?" which is answered by the Forgotten Chronicle lore; "A story of a city without a gate, of a queen who was not born, of a war which was not fought."
If the riddle was the unborn queen but it accepted Edge lore, that's a bug. AFAIK there is no Stag Door riddle for Edge, but if you can recall what the riddle was, that would be cool. If it's been added recently, I've not seen it yet.

I didn't have a question in the riddle. That's why it was confusing.

Ah I think perhaps I had this also. I knew the answer before I understood the question and was able to proceed through the door. (The riddle was not expressed, or perhaps the ambiguity itself was the riddle.)

The riddle was in the text of the Stag Door Riddle card, not in the event text, when I played through that. (My riddle was Grail 6, I think.)
