Ok, and how do we track how many aspects we get?
There absolutely is a need to clarify the mechanic further because when I put an acquaintance in the slot, it only shows a long line of symbols, not what I'm missing or adding. I have the cards matching symbols so I clearly have your "one" but it still won't let me start. So clearly something else is missing.
If you want someone to give you all the answers, you're missing the point of the game. The game is about discovery.
Heaven helps those that help themselves, buddy. If you're going to ask for help, be willing to put in some basic work and not make the person helping you do it for you.
Also it wouldn't hurt to show the slightest bit of gratitude when someone volunteers a portion of their day to help you with a problem instead of insulting them because they didn't help you exactly the way you wanted.

It was more fun to figure most things out for myself, but looking into the Talk verb in detail on the wiki will disclose everything, or the Follower section:

You know, just because I deleted my posts due to your obvious lack of appreciation of them doesn't give you license to edit in complete lies about things I never said. What a class act you are.
This thread was actually really helpful and I appreciate the person asking the question. You really come off as a jerk.
You can see aspects of a card when you click on it. Aspects are the little symbols at the base of the tooltip. You can hover or click on them too to see what they are about.
This is a purely mechanical hurdle that one can just forget after not playing the game for a couple months.
