Bug: upgrading lore and endless loop

Hi, here's my problem : I wanted to upgrade my Forge lore by using failed lore (lore that cannot stack because of failed upgrade) and now I'm stuck on an endless loop ; I provided at first the Library because I didn't have Erudition and now it keeps asking erudition for an entire hour . I can't provide Erudition all the time (with commissions) but it always says that I've passed the challenge . So is it because of the library place first or because of the failed lore (they have multiples icons like the paradoxical challenge and the practical one ?

if you sloted in the libary it will deal with all knolage requirements (if the lore needs ediuration/reason/facination) the fails might be due to the other requirements.

pratical requires health (might turn it into an injurie, no big deal)

paradox if i remember corectly needs reason (the library will cover that dont add reason if your already using the library, as it has a chance to destroy the reason if you slot reason in)

although it might be the passion verson of it (same logic, but uses a sanctuary instead), if thats the case one of the max lv painting skils can be used to reisove it with no risk to your stats

This is a known bug that was introduced by the new build's changes yesterday. The fix should be going live in a bit, hang tight!

That does sound like a bug if it's not completing (or failing) the research. [e-mail] is the place to mail a bug report to, if you can include your save file and player.log (select view saves from the in game menu to find the directory quickly) it might help them figure out what happened.
Not sure how I'd suggest moving past the bug. Play with debug mode a bit maybe ( ctrl+` ) or restart the run I guess (or fiddle with the save file, it's text so usually understandable enough. )

Will/can this bugfix be pushed to the version that twitch prime uses? That's the version I use, and I've seen this bug.

We're working with Twitch to release the fix on Twitch Prime as soon as possible. :)

I'm not sure Twitch offers a patch log. But if you're still waiting on the bug fix, we've released an interim solution here while we wait for Twitch to update the build: http://weatherfactory.biz/twitch-prime-cultist-simulator-bug-update/

Just run the patcher program and it should fix the lore studying issue.

ooof. i was stuck because of this for *hours* today before i realized it was a bug. still not pushed to twitch prime?

At this point, it seems unlikely the Twitch Prime version will receive this fix, unfortunately. :/ Never say never, though.

im just now starting to play and im having a very similar issue :( i went to the link mentioned but it doesnt seem top go anywhere anymore
