Flying units and dark elves
So, i noticed that with option "flying creatures disabled" Dwarves can still build their flying machines, i guess that was intended? Kinda interesting and i'm sure AI can't really abuse it to dominate players, but in terms of multiplayer it could be quite hard to play against but just a thought.
And yeah, dark elves ability to gain all resources with one spell from islands is absolute nuts, leaves AI opponents no chance to win the game. Within first 15-20 minutes rush castle III > find island with 6k gold and other resources > autowin the game. Maybe it should be somehow nerfed.

Hey caliga! Thank you for pointing out those two things. We will think about dwarven flying machines and about the spells... you can say that spellcasting in general will be altered very soon. And by very soon I mean: most probably tommorow. ;) We might need to look into this particular spell even more, though. :)
hm, i dont think the spell is realy op, i mean in the end it just means dark elfs dont have to build mines. If we look now to the dwarfs, building mines is good for them, it means more researchpoints.

I think the balance between the races is not that bad at all. Humans are the true masters of gold, the only race that could maybe need a buff are the wild elves...or i just dont get what there true strenght should be.^^
oh but here is another thing, maybe the castle need some of rework, its realy easy just to rush it away and you can do it with flying units or ground units with mass portals...its a bit like supreme commander, if you can rush the comm unit then the player is gone and that will happen in multiplayer if it comes out cause humans always look for the easy way.^^ I mean you can keep it like it is but then there will be no huge wars just rushes.

The problem of the spell is gaining large amounts of resources in a moment which leads to a huge snowball. Other races can't simply outrace or keep up to dark elves at this point, since they need actual time to gather resources. Like in a perspective that the match is played normally, without any early zerg-rushing or tryharding.
