Resolution Vs. Windows scaling

I know there have been resolution posts.
However, consideration should be made for those who run Windows scaled.
For example, i game from my couch, so i have windows scaled to 150%, without a resolution option, whether windowed or fullscreen, the game resolution forcefully downscales to what seems 720p.
By changing my windows scale back to 100% the game will run at 1080p, but i'm just never going to play this if every time i have to mess with my windows settings.
Game looks great, it's a shame when silly little things like this are missed or overlooked.
