Shipyard problem.

Has anyone sucessfully placed the shipyard? I can place the foundation in the water but it wont allow me to place the shipyard on the foundation. Just wondering if it is a bug or am i misunderstanding the instructions. Thanks.

Logged out of the game and then back in and it worked perfectly. Just a little hiccup I guess.

For me it would only allow one rotational orientation; facing directly out to sea.

Its works fine but you may not be deep in the water enough or not rotated well. There is an invisible box the length of 3 foundation spots that need to be totally in the water for it to turn green and be placeable. We had to do that in order to make sure there is enough space to recall the boat.

Like He said make docks that go out towards deeper water and place it. I have my house in open waters and i built my shipyard outside my balcony.

This was back in the first introduction of the shipyard. This was solved long ago. It doesn't even apply to the current stable or experimental versions.

We actually finished the topic in another thread. Dates are an important thing to pay attention to as well. Not to mention that if you read the whole thing I actually said that the problem was fixed before there were any replies and two others had replied helpfully (one of them a dev), so given the date and the advice already given with the fact that I stated the problem was fixed it should have stood to reason that it was solved. I admire that you want to help others but paying attention to detail will help you do that more effectively.
