destroying or moving foundations

so i effed up and placed a foundation over a few of my campfires i was using as temporary storage until i looted enough nails or got a workbench up. so now i have 140 gold ore, 60+ aluminum ore, and even more iron ore ... not to mention all the other goodies i've been looting and gathering. i'm more worried about the gold ore however as i'm in the middle of the 3k quest.

so i was hoping there was a way to move or destroy a placed foundation, i've tried all the common sense methods and to no avail. any help would be nice.

and it its not currently possible, devs please consider the option to remove a placed structure part. i've misplaced a couple walls in my other game and it'd be nice to move or remove them at some point :)

Tried delete "Del" key while your crosshair over the item?
