Cannot start the game
A window titled "Fatal Error" appears, and it says "Cannot start Trap Labs: Steam Init failed"

Sorry for the late reply. Steam must be running to start the game.

Steam is running. I am literally launching the game from Steam. Every other game is working, rebooted same issue. The game simply refuses to start
