Modding
I know it's too early for such a thing, but modding being one of the things that made me enjoy Payday 2 even more than I already did (custom music, textures, weapons, HUDs).
Since this is a different engine, new tools would be required to mod the game.
Are new modding tools and/or a steam workshop going to be a thing you plan to provide the community with, if not, will it be something you will let the community create and provide them something like the mod_override feature; or will modding be something not supported in the least or even forbidden ? :zombo:
I'm not looking for a definitive answer, just wanna know if you are considering such a feature.
Keep up the good work. :)

we only know, for sure, modding would be limited since the devs plan to implement anti cheat. that means no hud mods or anything that fixes the kind of oversights payday 2 had. if overkill make a bad game here, we're screwed. mods to fix things won't be a thing.

as for tools, raid was supposed to get mod tools and an lua dump. but starbreeze is holding onto those. it's not looking like modding will be supported or even allowed.

Mods limit micro transactions, you wont see skins and such being modded in, but music and huds i could see working.

Modding on UE4 is possible however devs will have to allow it and it will be limited.

The game won't have MTs. Or so they said.

well the funny thing is: sometimes developers have their head so far up their ****(this was just for a laugh)...games like this can end up as a failure...sometimes feels like the most important input that they have..US..the players, (the people who end up supporting them), means so little to them(even if they think otherwise) because they are so much inside of the box ,so deep inside with hours and hours of work and dedication will make them have no idea whats going on outside of this same box...as a music producer myself i always run away from that because i know what it is to work deep on something that you care, but you really need(it is a thumb rule) to stand up and ask around what people think, obviously you need to keep on the track of what you really want to do, but the input received by other "brains" is precious to make small or even bigger adjustments. And for years, despite of a good relation with Almir and some folks on the development , i feel that Overkill has become a bit stubborn and not willing to make the right changes to fit the players needs and thats a crime in therms of business. This game actually had so much potential but the amount of small and medium mistakes were so many that 90% of the player base just went away and already forgot the game that you guys worked so hard...stubbornness doesnt work with the consumer, dont you guys know that? We just want to have fun and success killing zombies and have a good time...for example why in the world a supressor will just work to kill 20 zombies when you have hordes of hundreds (triggered by the dumb AI "family you created), feels that they (family) make the noise but the zombies just come after us instead of the noise they created...why 5 containers of fuel to lit up a forklift? i mean ...there are tens not to say hundreds os these small mistakes that ruin the game totally...somehow if you really stealth it perfectly you will hear the radio telling you (in the end of the missions) "oh stop doing noise, that will attract zombies" dude im so quite here on a corner the the horde noise somehow will increase with no reason at all and why are the AI "soldiers (family) so stupid? the list really goes on...i have to say that i hate and love this game and thats not good because that means frustration , plz even sounding a bit to harsh i will support this game (for now i already bought 3 copies of the game, my son and my nephew and now i just bought one for me so i can play with them because there is no one online these days) you guys need to change attitude...let mods be a thing...come on dont block these things that everyone likes and loves...and plz give us a bit more power and a chance to have fun slaying zombies, look at dying light or killing floor these games are fluid and fun...OTWD not so much yet, still...i love the concept and i know is a bit too late for a open world game but try to implement more fluidity on the game otherwise i just cant keep with it, i really appreciate your work and dedication because i do know isnt easy to please everyone but surely you can please the majority. cheers:chains:
