Good upcoming alternitive to this game. (NMRIH2)

Obviously OK: TWD has been a disappointment to the vast majority and is very underwhelming considering it's $60 price-tag. Many people compared with to No More Room In Hell which is pretty similar but that is pretty outdated. Wanted to put out that NMRH2 is in development and has been the past 2 or so years, I honestly have no doubt that will be a game that lives up to the expectations considering how well the first went (Which was free). That will be this game and more. Their are aiming for only a $20 price-tag (1/3 of this games price) which I have no problem with considering their great work and they will also pump out content post-launch totally free (We know this game will charge seasons and DLC after season 2). So just wanted to put out that if your bummed out by this or feel pressured by such a large price tag, you may as well wait for that. They are aiming ot hit EA in early 2019. I know they are a smaller company and don't have the extreme CG Trailers/ marketing or TWD IP like these guys do so not as many people know about it.

i have been playing earthfall which while rough around the edges is a pretty neat game for what it is but suggest getting it when on sale, devs have been very open and interective

Wow, I wasn't even aware there was a World War Z coming out! Not sure how that slipped by me, looking at the gaemplay now, seems pretty interesting :)

And definitely excitied for some parkour and zombies from DL2, can't go wrong there

Yeah if Metro E and DL2 wouldve came out this year i wouldve been on cloud nine
2 awesome games by 2 amazing studios.
Zombie hordes look crazy in that War Z game but im hearing its on the shorter side in terms of length overall :( Dev said there would be reply value tho

Also another honorable mention even though this is a mutant game rather than zombie game would be Metro Exodus, not played any of them but a lot of people are hyped for that game.

OK: TWD has nothing to do with NMRH. Their only common point is there is zombies. Totally different games.
If you compare OK: TWD with NMRH, you clearly didn't play this game more than one or two maps...

And i don't care a lot about NMRH2 since NMRH was so meh and trash.

But i understand it will be more enjoyable for the wanabee rambos who were/are lost here.
Of course, when i say Rambo (lol), understand: "I shot on zombies everywhere @LFD2, i'm not feared, i'm invincible".... Somes minutes later: "argh the horde killed us all, we'd wiped, this game is bull.hit, Overkill be cursed, i will post a negative review and post on the forums to tell you about how your game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥". :)

But DL2, why not. The first one was a good game.

I will probably buy and play them all. They all have something new and interesting to offer. There are going to be pros and cons to all titles.

uhhh... I kinda expected for someone to kind of come running to defend but. I'll explain it simply: They are similar.

- Both focused on WALKING zombies
- Both are fairly slow-paced
- Both have survival/ defense type missions
- Both have expedition missions where you go complete some sort of task

- On the subject, A pretty big diference that I actually like more in NMRIH is the survival aspect of moving through the map and picking up different ammo's, changing guns, meele weapons ect. where as your stuck to whatever you choose at the menu like in Payday 2. I think they should of changed it up to suit a more survival game like this but meh, less resources right?

- Also like how in NMRIH how people can get infected > Die > Then come back as a zombie.... OK: TWD IP might have TWD in the name, but now that I think of it. NMRIH actually follows that world/ lore more closely lmao.

I bought Dying Light Enhanced Edition to play it with friends since it was on discount until a few hours ago and it came with all the DLC that mattered. All patched out and with tons of content for a low price. We'll play it for a long time while we wait for OTWD to get fixed and whatnot.

I love NMRiH and can't wait for the sequel, I'll be playing both of these games to get my zombie fix :)

Sweet, I do wish I could get this in the main time while waiting but not for $60. I have seen people say them have got keys for like $30, yet none have provided sources haha. Though Dead Matter is out very soon so I'll see how that is first :)

Of course you expected this...

- Both have a camp to manage, with survivors you take back from the maps to the camp and give them assignations, with ameliorations to the camp, etc...
- Both have skill trees and different archetypes characters for a "each one have a role in the team" Coop.

Players have a role in the team.

Overkill did what they know to do. Payday2 was a succes for 6 years now. So, i expected a walkind dead with a lot of Payday2 mecanics inside. Not sure if i'm the one (or the others players who plays this game) who is/are wrong.

Ps: But ok. i won't past the night, here, since i didn't liked NMRH and don't really care of NMRH2.
Of course, i'm sure i'm wrong too but i won't create a thread in NMRH ou NMRH2 to say how their game is meh and mostly dead now (we're far from payday 2 which stayed 6 years in the top 20 most played games and always is. Where is NMRH ? I don't see it :p) and how Overkill's the walking dead could be a better alternative on the long term (when the patchs and the future content added and when the trolls will go out from this forum to go on the next game forum released to do the same circus).
I should do it but i don't see how is it useful. And i don't really care about.
So, Have a good play (and dreaming) about every other games which isn't released yet (and probably the next messiah). ++

Dont know where you got the minority vs majority here. Seeing as quite alot of people still play this game compared to release. Then making a free add for a game that isn't even out nor have been playtested trying to paint it as better with it just being ''trust me'' is an overall weak and bad thing.
