Is this an open world game?

I just came across this game by pure coincidence, and now I'm kinda intrigued. does anyone know if this is an open world game, or with linear levels?

No one really knows yet, but I'm sure within a month or 2 they'll probably reveal that.

It's hard to say, but since this is being created by Overkill, I think it's obvious it won't be an open world game like Skyrim or anything like that.

It's not gonna be open world I don't think. I'm getting the impression that it's gonna be a LFD/Vermintide kinda game which is fine by me. There aren't enough games of that type out there and they make for the best co-op experiences, especially if you're like me and get tired of MOBA or Battle Royal games.

Only like Payday 2 in that regard, I guess. Nothing else seems to suggest that it's anything like it.

Read the article. Makes it seem like Payday 2 but with a few added features. Even one of the quotes from the article says you can go in stealthily or go in guns blazing. Hopefully it's not too similar to PD, but I'd be fine if it was just a little similar.

Agreed. I'd rather Survival Instinct remake than Payday 2 reskin.
