My game is running too fast :x

I just bought a new PC and when i try to play the game the pace in combat is way higher than normal. I think it's the same problem with older touhou games where you need to use vsync, but i don't know if it would work for AoCF
Do you have any suggestion to help me solve this?

that sounds weird lol i have a gaming laptop with 860m and a desktop with a 1080ti i just tried the demo on my laptop and was getting like 24 frames till i enabled some japanese option then i was getting 59-60fps

tldr i was having the opposite effect after enabling what i think was vsync my game was running super slow prior....

does it run fine when not in full screen? its a shame the devs/players dont frequent the board.

I have the same issue, and while I can't remember how it's fixed (it was mentioned by someone back when it launched on steam) I *do* remember that there is a single setting in the game config menu that will fix it.

I'm waiting for the official english translation, so I didn't try it out myself (not being able to read the menus when in japanese), but several others said it did the trick, so it's there somewhere.

Edit: It had something to do with refresh rates or somesuch, or framerate. It's something simple like that, just a 'lock to 60 fps refresh blabla' kind of thing.

to whomever is still interested, you need to disable vsync on in-game settings screen
