How to use Spellcard?

This may be a silly question, but I can't seem to find the button inputs required to use your spellcard.

Change Partner + Special Attack

That seems to launch my Last Spell (Mind you I'm in practice), unless there's a requirement I'm missing that changes the 2

Its Special + Shoot at the same time.

Special + Shoot
If you have announced two spell (Master and Slave's spell), use → + Change Partner during spell attack will change to Slave and use Slave's spell.

To expand on this if the first person still using their spellcard and you press the arrow key towards the opponent + a (change partner button) then it combo's with the first persons spell.
