Hot Air Balloon poster missing in inventory?

My mom & I are playing Eastshade together and she isn't able to find the poster in her items, and checked around to see if it was already up where I put mine in Nava. She's unable to finish the hot air balloon quest & go up the mountain for now with it missing. Has this happened to anyone else, and how would we be able to find it? I was wondering if she might've placed it somewhere else, is it only able to be placed in Nava?

You can place the poster in various places in Nava and New Lyndow. Any place where it should be seen by lots of people should work. Your mother may have left hers in New Lyndow.

If your mother can't find a poster, what happens if she tries to get another one ? What happens if she goes to the balloonist and tries to talk to them ?

Thank you very much! She went to talk to the balloon lady, but could only get the same dialogue repeating. I ended up showing her my poster so she'd recognize it if she put it up, and we found out my mom didn't get a painting of her balloon yet! Oops.

She was invisible in my game for the first ten hours and her character finally popped after painting her balloon. However, I painted her in flight, she told me to go hang it up but the painting is somehow not in my inventory and she is gone. This game is extremely buggy. I originally tried it on pc and thought my rig was outdated so I bought it on ps4 and it's more of the same :/
