Expected performance with this PC
I wanna get this gem but was put off by people saying it doesn't run the best, my specs:

16gb ddr4 2666mhz ram
AMD 3400g
1050ti 4gb

What do you think? Should the frames be stable with this? I really don't have any issues running the latest games with combination of settings of medium-high.

Ughhh, sucks... As it looks like a really interesting game, something to relax with but stutter is something I really hate, crashes are even worse...

Did the devs say anything about this? Are they active here? Will it be fixed? What engine is this running on?
Crazy it crashes so much, much obliged my friend... Don't wanna sound like an a-hole but you just saved me 20e, looks like a great game but won't be purchasing until crashes are resolved. Stuttering I could maybe put up with but constant crashing where I have to save constantly is a no-no.

I usually let the users respond to these, but @nepenthe keeps swooping in and bringing up the Tiffmoor crash in seemingly every thread whether its related or not. For the most part our users report reasonable performance and stability. There is indeed a common crash in one particular area (Tiffmoor) we have not been able to reproduce and diagnose. Other than that crashes are infrequent, though we have seen reports of crashing after reloading repeatedly, or in very long play sessions. @nepenthe likes to hawk on the forums and drag us over the coals at every opportunity :P.

We've pushed a number of updates since launch that have improved performance and stability. I believe the thread @nepenthe linked the user's performance is not representative, as I get better frame rate than that user reports with a much weaker GPU.

I will say the game is not as well optimized as perhaps the average triple-A release, but I'd venture to say its more optimized than a great many mid-budget high fidelity indie titles. We've done what we can. So all in all, if uncompromising top performance is important to you, I would not blame you for skipping our game, but its not as bleak a picture as certain users like to paint :).

Wow I actually got a reply from the dev, feels great :D

Thanks for this detailed answer, and yeah I don't need top performance hah, hell I'm playing Bloodborne with that stupid PS4 30 fps lock on PS4 so yeah :D

Anyways, thanks again for this answer, I'll probably get the game, 20e is not gonna break me anyways, I'm really looking for unique games and this one really seems like it's that one unique and different game that'll be a lot of fun, not to mention that it does look so gorgeous!

Cheers! Thanks for checking out our game at any rate. And hey if its giving you too much stuttering you can always return it!

Got the game, will delve into this adventure tonight after work :D
Sorry for the spam! Wow the game is really amazing, I can't believe how captivating it is when there is no combat, just exploring and hearing people's stories, doing everyday stuff, I'm really enjoying it a lot. Well done on the game, I'm loving it so far! I'll write a thorough positive review once I sink few hours in.

As the Dev mentioned, longer play sessions can bring on problems. While I encountered no bugs or crashes in my 17 hours playing, I definitely got stuttering, and the longer the play session the more frequent it got. The few times it got too annoying, I saved, closed the game, and restarted, and all was fine again.

TO THE DEV: Would love to know where that common crash in Tiffmoor is so I can try to find it for you. It will give me something to do while listen to the beautiful soundtrack again.

CPU: QX 9650 dual core quad ( I know- it's an antique, but still performs like a champ)
GPU: GTX 1070
RAM: 8 Gb
OS: Windows 7

I must say that I was a little worried about whether it would run on my humble laptop. But I've had no problems (other than the long-session-crashes that some others have reported [my own fault, should've saved more often!]) I'm running at its lowest settings with a Core I3 dual core at 2.4Ghz with 8Gb Ram and Intel 4000 with just under 2Gb Ram. I just make sure to save often, now, and restart if there are any problems. I don't have a problem, with such a beautifully-crafted game running on its lowest specs, as the game content more than makes up for that. :)
