The same situation has already been repeated with other games, and the developers "understood it" as it was too late to massively gain a player base....

Giving dedicated server files to companies and not players who are actually paying for the game is a real slap in the face to your playerbase who is funding your game.

Your limited to playing with 4 people without shelling out even more $$$, thats just disgusting. I can see a lot of negative reviews coming up for this game.

refund time I guess, would happily host my own server but I guess getting paid by server providers is more important than allowing players the same privilege of hosting the game.

They have a rent server button ingame which brings you to the gportal website and they use the referral code "dreamside" which are the devs of the game, clearly more interested in money than allowing players the same freedom of hosting their own server.

This is just a terrible idea honestly. Listen to community feedback, drop the exclusivity and run the officials yourself or none at all. No one cares about 10 player officials, just open community servers.

Same I was literally about to buy this until I saw that you cannot host your own private server you have to pay if you plan to play with more than 4 people.. I'm not paying £27 for 90 days when I'm already paying £25 for the game.

You've already lost so many people due to this. The community I play with are all refunding. Myself included here shortly since now they are moving onto something else. Not about to be forced to rent after paying $36 tax in for a game we can't even play together.
