Is the PC port worth it ?
I'm aware that the reviews are really bad.

I initially played it on PS4 and enjoyed it overall despite a few flaws.

However, I heard that it doesn't run (which is likely due to a user-side problem in some cases given that 1.1% managed to finish the game on steam). It's supposedly due to overclocking, vsync and full screen mode.

Is it playable ?

If there are issues that were not present on the PS4 version, what are they ?

I also heard that playstation controllers are not working properly R2 instead from R1 for instance.
Is it true ?
Assuming it is, is there a fix or mod to fix it ?

It runs okay. I can deal with the low frame rate but UI is flickering and very broken. I was looking all over for a fix but this game is abandoned and nothing seems to be working.

Sub 60fps ?
What specs (mine on my profile if needed) ?

Are the crafting/map menus affected by the UI problem you mentioned ?

If not it's doable if it can be switched off.

Since we're talking about Konami, no wonder the game is abandoned.
They only went on a downward spiral since they fired Hideo anyway...

It runs for about 30fps for me

AMD Radeon RX 7600S
Yes all UI is basically flickering/disappearing for me.
From what I have seen NVIDIA Drivers run this game better.

And it's a Square Enix game, not KONAMI.

My bad, i'm stoned rn. It still is not surprising. Look at most Final Fantasy on steam, most of them are either inferior products than their console version or straight up bad (if not horrible) ports (FF7 for instance).

Again, it's playable for me at least but not ideal.. I would say it was worth the 7$

I can't get past the intro logos, crashes before the main movie.

Ran well for me, 3600x gtx1070, used ds4 controller.

I did get an initial crash after doing settings, but it ran without crashing and 100%ed the game without any error after. I don't remember if the button prompts were PS or xbox.

It's been a while since I finished it.
There is no support for Playstation controllers on this port.
It does crash very frequently with my specs (available on my profile).

It used to run fine enough for me to play the game and I was enjoying it for the 7 dollars I paid. But then I replaced my 970 with a 6700xt and now I have the same Issues as TheKilljoy. UI constantly flickering or not showing up, making it impossible to manage inventory or navigate any menus.

So far nothing square enix support has suggested fixed the issues, and it kinda feels like I'm just going in circles with them.
