Metal Gear Solid Clone?

Do you think this is a clone? The way everything plays out is almost like MGS. If this have a good story I would be all over it because MGSV was lacking.

Judging from the promo materials for this game - it is marketing itself as an MGS clone.

I agree for the most part, for me I just wish they built and expanded what they had with Peace Walker and take out all the annoying AI mech fights. It's fun the first few times, but grinding Pupa or Chrysalis made me wanna vomit.

I beat every MGS game but stopped half-way through 5. They really missed the mark IMO.

I think it's made by the same artist, but I doubt it's a clone, it kinda reminds of of Nier Automata, a niche japanese game that could end up being better than people think.

I hope it is Kanomi failed as a gaming company due to the corperation's own Incompitence. They'll never come out with another MGS game after V and the failure of the cash grab known as survive. Not to mention we can't get our hands on Kajima's current work with Sony unless ofcourse you want to shell out money for a ps4 which is low grade compared to Gaming PCs. So this our only hope boys and if they mess up with this one I think Indie limbo will be the realm for stealth games unfortunately. Least Capcom with RE and Nintendo have their heads on straight I suppose...... for now even then I'm losing hope for the video games released this year.

I'm 100% sure they'll come out with another Metal Gear Solid game. Probably a remake of 3, or get some other dev to work on it, Metal Gear is too big to just let go to waste.

I wouldn't call it a clone. More of a successor considering that MGS is now a dead franchise.

I know that Konami hasn't technically killed it off yet but I know zero sane people that think that MGS can make a comeback.

I think it's inevitable that they'll try making MGS games. It's one of their biggest franchises.

I just don't expect any of them to be good. If Square can pull off what Konami can't then I'll more than happily jump ship to their franchise.
