First of all, I loved this game and finished it. XD

The only other games that instantly come to mind would be Sally Face, Lorelai, The Cat Lady, and Downfall?

If you want a game with lots of story and little/no difficulty, would a Visual Novel be alright? The Letter has full English voice acting, skippable Quick-Time-Events and a lot of branching plotlines but no way to stick yourself into a very short ending (you can kill off characters or save them depending on choices, but the game will continue with/without people)

I guess I should have been more specific. Preferably, w/ voice acting and zero to little difficulty. (And by that, I mean ( like Little Misfortune ) no brain teasing puzzles, just straight story

I'd recommend Edna and harvey : Harvey's new eye. It shares some of the darkness and child viewpoint, and it's an actual point and clcik with inventory and puzzles, it's actually better than little misfortune. It has a prequel, with much lower budget and playing it is not required to understand the sequel, it's actually a totally different story.
