Why did I choose CDBaby?
Being a self-taught composer of the musics, CDbaby was the best choice for me to go when trying to get the music out to all the cool places like Spotify, Itunes etc. It's pretty easy actually, I keep doing music and they take care of all the publishing part (which is like sending the soundtracks to all the stores etc, taking care of taxes and whatnots). They got algorithms in the internets that are identifying my music as ours, which is really awesome. That way I dont have to manually beg for people not to upload pirated versions of my work and making money from it, scamming people etc.
These algorithms, the ones that might be popping up now, are because after weeeeks of back n forth I finally got Little Misfortune soundtrack out to the stores (spotify etc) and with this, they identify my songs all over the internet.
The claims are not bad. You should be able to still have ads, but share the revenue for those minutes that are played with music. But it's a little blurry to me, there should be a "learn more" or "conditions" that one affected with this claim could read up on more and know what it means. What I do know is that it's not a "strike" and doesn't harm your channel.
I hope this helps you to understand the situation a little better <3
You're going to tell me " it's fine if every single video gets illegally copyright claimed for my game ^^ you can deal with some ppl stealing money off of your channel, right? :)
Fair use dictates that a let's play of a video game is FAIR USE, and therefore - not copyright claimable material.
Fair use says ( under it's guidelines ) that you can use copyrighted materials withouth permission from the creator.
This is a let's play, it's covered by Fair USe.
Same way a movie reviewer has to use clips from the movie they review for context.
Please, read up on fair use laws.

I expect you tp repeal all claims post-haste. It's actually illegal to be claiming them for the music in the game, unless you specified that you aren't allowed to upload footage of your game to youtube, or stream it.
( which you did not )
Sweet, thanks for the new info! I'll check em out :)
