Finished. Something is bugging the ♥♥♥♥ out of me in terms of story...
Morgo is aware of the player, initially he's narrating to us... It's only when Misfortune reveals that she can hear him that his focus primarily becomes on her. Morgo is aware however that we have control over Misfortune's actions... Only a few times does Misfortune show any self-agency, moving or acting without our control.

Benjamin doesn't seem to be aware at all of the player character.

What I'm trying to figure out, what is our role in playing this? Are we Morgo's accomplice? His opponent? Are we the real players? Why at the end of the game does Morgo forget all about us on the other side of the screen, he just becomes fixated on torturing Misfortune.

I also think about the questions Morgo has us answer at certain points (Do you feel loved...) and if we should answer those in character or genuinely.

Sidenote: It's short, but I love the game. It really reminds me of that movie Coraline in the best kinda homage.

I also want to know the answer of this.
Morgo was such a great character but I don't understand what is he trying to get with having Misfortune playing his game. And what about Hiro? I thought we would at least have an answer to that.

If you have these questions, you likely have a pretty good life and haven't came to terms with the reality of the world we live in and your place in it yet.

Absolutely right. Whenever you have questions about anything, be aware that you are only having them because you didn't live through the hard life some other steam players are having, also you don't know what world you live in, unlike some other steam players that have reached the next level of existence.

Haha this thread is so funny. I think Morgo really likes Misfortune by the end and he wasn't trying to torture her but just to play. He is just evil since he tricked her into crossing the road which ended badly. I believe in Benjamin's diary it says the Morgo is confused by Misfortune's charms or something. He probably cares about Misfortune in a twisted way.

Guess I'll need to do another run through, cause I very much missed that reading the diary. Theres also that point where he reveals His game is the only thing keeping her alive

Hey I agree with your point. I think the love is very twisted.
