Stuck at Stalker room

So basically I don't know what to do next... I am in this huge room with stalkers and dead rebels that are ready to be turn into stalker. I sometimes ocassionaly gets the virus other than that idk what I am supposed to do...

You must destroy with the special attack of the AR2, some kind of energy vent (I don't know exactly what it is).

It is located in the room after the lasers. Look up when you're in the room. Sadly, it's never explained in the game that you're supposed to destroy it.

Thanks! I was trying to destroy it with bullets and gave up, thinking I didn't have to do anything with it.

Btw how was I supposed to get past the lasers if I didn't bring the barrel from the previous room in? I mean the doors close behind you and there is no other item in, unless I didn't see it.

Use the AR2 right click attack (the combine ball thing),when you enter the room,look up and search for a hole with a blue light in it

I don't know how the hell i made it out of there 1st playthrough! Tough spot in game. Felt good though...lol.
