i almost finally broke 75k in gridshot today. rank is like 4100 something. I thought way more people than that would have hit 100k by now tbh. Is the 100k club just that exclusive?

No its not. Two weeks ago i also was able to hit maximum 70-78k. After some practice in different aim trainers and scenarios i did 90k.
Tbh Gridshot ultimate is useless scenario,it does not relate to any game and improve nothing.

i'm really bad at aiming and have always been. started out getting around 25k in gridshot when i started. I use it to practice the flicking motion more than anything else, it has helped drastically improve my ability to properly flick. I'm hoping that in another 50 hours of the various scenarios I do I can hit 100k with a high accuracy.

The more you play Gridshot, the more you grow accustomed to your sensitivity, which will inevitably help you improve in both Aim Lab and the games you play as long as you're somewhat consistent in your training (and use the same sens in all your games). It's definitely not useless. However, if you truly want to improve in all fronts, then I suggest you try out different gamemodes related to tracking, switching, and alternate between them on a daily basis.

The rank you are referring to is probably your position in the weekly leaderboard, which at the time this thread was posted had just got reset (Monday), hence your unusually high position on it. If I had to guess, with a score of 75k, you're probably in the top 500k of players. There are currently around 90k people out of 7.6 million who are a part of the 100k club.

That makes loads more sense. I'm pretty close to emerald 4 rn in the ranked stuff but i think i read somewhere that the new rankings are fixed and don't reflect where you actually fall among aimlab users.

Bro i have 800 hours and i wasn't being able to do 100k before because i never did try to do that it felt pointless to me. About a couple of weeks ago i decided to give it a shot it took me 3 days to hit 100k

The Aimlab-offical task leaderboards resets with each week, therefore only 4100 players have surpassed a score of 75k this week
