Mac version?
Good day, I would like to ask if there is any intent in adding a version of this for MacOS, since it could be helpful for us filthy Apple users too! Thanks in advance!

Yes, this summer we have planned Linux and Mac OSX released!

I'm also a filthy Apple user, hah.

Hahaha, I'm glad to know I'm not the only outcast on this platform! And I don't know if this is too complex to answer, but I was wondering why some games don't have releases for Mac and Linux at the same time as Windows? Do you have to code the game in different languages or something? Just out of curiosity, been wondering for a while! Anyway, thanks for the information and quick reply, best of luck! ^.^

Great question. It likely comes down to resources able to be deployed in troubleshooting the nuances of each system. We use Unity which is pretty flexible, but still has slight differences between OS's that need to be taken into account and then fixed. So you basically need to keep/manage different codebases for each OS deployment. Not a huge deal, but something you want to do after you've got the project as complete as possible. So once we hit the 1.0 release on PC, we will translate that over to Mac/Linux and then keep up as needed from there.

I've got a follow up question. What happened? You claimed it would release that summer, but its been more than a year! I'm not pointing fingers or mad, I just wanna know why it has yet to happen.

the developers stated that they'll most likely release a mac version once the game goes out of early access. That's still not the case apparently but damn, it's taking a while haha
