Great question. It likely comes down to resources able to be deployed in troubleshooting the nuances of each system. We use Unity which is pretty flexible, but still has slight differences between OS's that need to be taken into account and then fixed. So you basically need to keep/manage different codebases for each OS deployment. Not a huge deal, but something you want to do after you've got the project as complete as possible. So once we hit the 1.0 release on PC, we will translate that over to Mac/Linux and then keep up as needed from there.
