Since the in-game tutorial messages are not ready in the steam beta build yet, I have prepared this quick FAQ to help new players get their bearings. If you guys can think of any other questions feel free to ask :)

Q: How do I deploy units?
A: After you buy them, simply click on your stack of units in the deployment box, click on the unit(s) you want to deploy and then drag them onto your spawn hexes. Your spawn hexes will be shaded blue if you are human, red if you are goblin.

You can also double click an entire stack from the deployment box and drag them onto the map at once.

Q: How do I issue orders?
A: Right click on a unit or stack of units and an order menu will pop up.

Q: How do I detach companies?
A: Click on the unit to select it. Then double click on its graphic at the bottom of the screen. This will open the unit card. You can then detach companies individually, or press Shift+D with the unit card open to detach all companies at once.


Tip: Units that are marching will attack anything that gets in their way as long as the odds are 1 to 1 or better.

Tip: When you have a stack of units selected, you can deselect individual units by clicking on their graphic at the bottom of the screen. Pressing the middle mouse button deselects all units.
